APSCo Award for Innovation
1 min read
We won the APSCo Award for Innovation this week. I am grateful for it. I am also still processing it.
APSCo is the Association of Professional Staffing Companies. Their awards are judged by senior figures across the recruitment and talent industry. To be recognised by people inside the market we are trying to change means a great deal.
The judges described inBeta as a compelling and genuinely innovative solution for the executive search market, one that tackles unfairness and bias while raising standards from day one. They said it could ‘genuinely shift the dial’. That wording stopped me.
Hearing something like that reflected back by an independent panel this early in the build landed harder than I expected.
We are still a small team. We are still building. Most of what we are working on is not yet visible, and an award does not change that. But recognition like this does something useful. It tells you the problem you saw was real. And it tells you that people who understand the market can also see why the old model needs to change.
Thank you to the APSCo judges. Thank you to the team. Back to work.
