inBeta Closes Pre-Seed Funding Round
1 min read
Today, we are announcing the successful close of our pre-seed funding round, bringing inBeta to a seven-figure valuation just months after launching.
The round has been backed by former FTSE 100 and senior operating leaders who know the problem from the inside. Harriet Hounsell, Chief People Officer at Nomad Foods, formerly McDonald’s and Marks & Spencer, and Mark West, former CTO of JAB Luxury GmbH, join the board as Non-Executive Directors. They are further supported by John Clarke, formerly the CIO of Primark and the Chief Digital and Technology Officer of the Metropolitan Police, and Sean Gogarty, formerly the Divisional CEO at Unilever.
These are people who have sat close to high-stakes leadership decisions and seen how much still comes down to instinct, pattern recognition and network. They backed inBeta because they believe the model can be rebuilt around better evidence, a wider perspective and more honest judgment.
This funding gives us room to build properly. For us, that means a more evidence-led approach to executive talent, using data, behavioural science and integrated coaching to widen the lens before, during and after a hiring decision.
A failed leadership hire is costly long before anyone totals it up. Lost trust. Slower decisions. Months spent repairing something that was described as a success on the day the offer was signed. We believe more of that is avoidable than the market currently admits.
We are still early. We are still proving the model. But we now have the backing to keep going with more intent and more substance. This is the beginning.
